Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is Maharashtra’s oldest and one of India’s most famous tiger reserves. Located in Chandrapur district, it is known for high tiger sightings, dense teak forests, beautiful lakes, and rich biodiversity.

Spread over more than 1,700 sq. km (including buffer zones), Tadoba is home to:

• Royal Bengal Tigers

• Leopards

• Sloth Bears

• Wild Dogs (Dholes)

• Gaur (Indian Bison)

• Over 200 species of birds

October to February (Winter)

Tadoba Core zone is closed during the monsoon period. While Buffer zone gates remain open round the year.
